Dog Obedience and Puppy Trainer

Tahnee Logan

Tahnee has extensive experience in teaching both puppy courses and adult dog obedience classes to adults and children. She teaches puppy classes using a 4 week curriculum; providing people with information and strategies on topics including toilet training, chewing, barking, basic heeling, sit and more. As a dog obedience trainer, she teaches a 6 week curriculum for dogs that are 4 months and older. Main topics covered include: basic obedience (sit, drop, stand, stay, recalls, food refusal training etc) while also covering issues relevant to clients.

Tahnee also has experience assisting other trainers with their classes. She has worked one on one with people who have required additional help e.g. reactive dogs and people with disabilities. Her position involves understanding and interpreting canine behaviour, teaching dog obedience, public speaking, training clients, working in a team and problem solving. She receives great feedback from my clients on her approach to assisting people with aggressive/ reactive dogs, the range of strategies she offers to solve issues, and her individual feedback on clients’ progress. She enjoys taking her own classes while she also works well in a team. She is a quick learner and keen to expand her knowledge of puppies and dog obedience.
